The latest, 2012 North Ronaldsay Bird Report
Last year, we at NRBO began producing our very own annual reports. Our first, the 2011 issue had details of just our own activities and the results of our bird census work throughout the year. This will provide a more thorough account of the island's birds, and a convenient year by year reference comparable to those of other British bird observatories.
We are pleased to announce our latest report for 2012, is now available. It includes a detailed systematic list of every species recorded by the observatory during the year, monthly summaries, the year's ringing totals, complete, up to date lists of all the species seen and ringed during on the island, and a selection of colour photographs. This year we have been able to add more detail with data tables and graphs for selected species, plus some interesting articles.
The 2012 report is available from the observatory for just £5.00, plus £1.50 for postage and packaging. To order your copy now, please contact NRBO at email@example.com or phone us on 01857 633200 to give us your details.
